I submitted my application Wednesday, 18 January 2017. I have called every business day since the application was submitted and have still not been contacted by anyone at the Waverley or yes communities. I pulled my credit report this afternoon and my credit had not been checked. If someone at the property answers the phone they tell me they will call me back or to call them back within 10 minutes. I do not receive a return phone call and they will not answer the return phone call. The mailbox is also full so I cannot leave a voicemail, though that doesn't seem to do much as I've already left several. I paid $90 to have my application process completed and they have not done so. I'm a blue-collar person who works every day and I'm in desperate need of a place to live. I was told this process would take 24 to 48 hours and I am now in day six. I tried to reach out to US communities but they insulate themselves pretty well by not providing any sort of a phone number. With so many scams out there it's hard to say what's going on at this point but I feel like I've been taken for a fool
The let us move in w no screen door, infact it was in our living room for 3 weeks....thats trash. Stove light is broken, one bathroom sink is broken, had one broken window for 2 weeks, fan and light were broken for a whole month, the facing in the kitchen on the side of the cabinet wasnt glued right for weeks, the doors arent installed properly so ants get in, we have a shed in the back with broken windows as well as the lock plus its full of trash from the previous owner. We always have to subtract almost $100 dollars on our bill because some how we held a previous balance when we didnt even live here so no we dont have any previous balance, paid rent on time when the 1st fell on a sunday and recieved an eviction notice, random dogs with no leash beg for food everyday and will walk up your porch no hesitation at all, plus they love to stand in the street too even with cars speeding by, mailbox was broken for weeks so the postman had to hold mail or we had to come home at an exact time. They never pick up the phone dont even bother calling.....but the dishwasher works and the air blows cold but really thats it cause we even had trash left on the porch from the painters and it looks as if no sealant was even applied to the wooden porches that also lack any type of awning or cover in case if rain or any other precipitation but the porch lights work just fine. Panels to cover the foundation are complete garbage super thin, so thin the guy I hired to cut the grass chipped a few with the weed whacker, plus they come up all the time. There is a large hole in the back yard for some reason right by the electricity and some piping too. Im always greatful with what the lord blesses me with but why have us move in if its not ready.....thats quite inconsiderate.
I moved here last year and they had one home available. The main office was friendly and warm and was very understanding and helpful when it came to placing us in our new home. They worked with us and I really felt positive about living here. I hung out in the office while doing paperwork and was able to meet some of the residents. That was reassuring seeing as how they were nice people. It is a community of families and working people.
The lady in the office is really nice. My daughter loves her and you can tell she loves kids. So that's a win on my book.
